About the pub
The Penny Hedge is a stunning premium food pub in Whitby, boasting a prime location that provides great links to blue flag beaches, Captain Cook’s house & Whitby Abbey. Delighting guests with our Signature menu, The Penny Hedge also has a 29 bedroom lodge, making this a hugely seasonal, multi-faceted business.
Currently trading at an average of £40,000 per week in net sales, the Penny hedge is the perfect opportunity for a seasoned General Manager with a proven track record of leading & inspiring their teams to success within a high-volume, branded food environment.
The Penny Hedge proves popular with both locals & tourists alike and therefore offers plenty of scope to showcase your passion and enthusiasm for being guest obsessed, as well as making a name for yourself in one of our flagship businesses!
Management accommodation is available in the form of a 3 bedroom flat, located directly above the pub
