We’re looking for an experienced, community focused General Manager to run the Samson Blewitt in Hednesford. Salary up to £45k plus bonus and a generous benefits package.

Our Two Door pub format is all about the balance. The energy of a great night out and the comfort of your local in one place. They’re where mates meet for the match; families gather for dinner and locals drop by for that friendly pint.

Nestled on Rosehill in Hednesford, Samson Blewitt is just a short stroll from the town’s shops and green spaces and is at the heart of this community.

With weekly takings around £31,000 and a near-even split between bar and dining, it’s a favourite for families, sports fans, and locals alike. The pub’s strong reputation and welcoming atmosphere make it a go-to spot for a varied customer base. We’re looking for a hands-on General Manager to build on its success and keep that local spirit alive.

As a Two Door General Manager, you’ll run a pub with personality, one that celebrates tradition while delivering something for everyone, whether its family-friendly amenities, social spaces, a pet-welcoming policy, or a spot to enjoy the match. You’ll build teams that know their guests, create spaces that feel welcoming from both sides of the bar and make sure every visit feels just right.

General Manager FAQ's

As the General Manager of your pub, you’ll be required to work at peak trading times which involves evenings & weekends, as well as peak trading days such as bank holidays & the festive period.
