Digital Marketing Manager

We’re looking for a Digital Marketing Manager to join our digital team. The Digital Marketing team is responsible for driving new and existing customers into our Pubs and Hotels through an online multi-channel approach. We pride ourselves on providing a relevant and personalised experience for all our customers which in turn drives visits and increased spend. 

The role will support the Senior Performance Marketing Manager and Head of Digital to develop and execute the digital acquisition performance marketing program to drive profitable sales to our pubs, as well as provide project support for our newly relaunched order and pay proposition.

This is a highly cross-functional role is a unique opportunity to deliver value using a breadth of competencies and work alongside stakeholders from all areas of the business!

Main Responsibilities:

  • Implementation of the performance marketing strategy, working closely with the performance marketing agency and Senior Performance Marketing Manager to deliver profitable and effective campaigns from digital media including paid search, paid social, programmatic and SEO.
  • Utilise 1st, 2nd and 3rd party data to devise activity that is relevant and timely for consumers across key media platforms such as Meta and Google. Ensure a robust measurement framework and bidding strategy is in place to deliver core KPI’s efficiently  including site traffic, online bookings, pub visits, database sign ups, hotel room bookings, gift card sales.
  • Be an active member of the order and pay project group, providing support for project leads and the Head of Digital on task delivery and functionality releases. Work closely with our lead agency and internal teams to ensure we are meeting order and pay deadlines and performance targets.
  • Work with our agencies to implement recommendations for search optimisation, considering new technology such as AI on the search landscape. Ensure all our pub data is consistent and maximising the potential of Google Business Profile listings and other directories.
  • Monitor performance and report regularly as required, using relevant dashboards and platforms. Regularly communicate KPI goal tracking and progress towards objectives. Leverage data and insights to advocate for optimal campaign execution.
  • Be curious, innovative and show a willing to test and learn, actively exploring opportunities with new partners, new formats and new channels to reach new customers and drive profitable growth.
  • Collaborate with wider digital and brand marketing colleagues to brief creative assets required end ensure delivery of our campaign moments across digital touchpoints.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Strategic experience in a fast-paced environment with a competence and confidence in complex matrix organisations.
  • Proficient in relationship building and account handling. 3+ years’ experience working with digital acquisition channels including paid search, SEO, paid social and digital display.
  • Experience in retail, consumer products or services, e-commerce, marketing, project management 
  • Experienced at managing agency and vendor relationships.
  •  Comfortably prioritise and manage multiple workstreams concurrently. Detail orientated. Excellent problem solver.
  •  Exceptional communication & collaborations skills – comfortable making the ambiguous clear.
